There are a lot of things to do in Cervinia. Check out some of the highlights which are listed below. 

WINTERACTIVITIES


SKIING

Cervinia is a large ski-area. It has 322 km of piste. The lifts are very modern. You can reach 3883m by lift. The ski-area stretches through three valleys and two countries. There are three children areas. There is a variety in difficulty. From beginner to professional Cervinia is fun for everyone.

SKI MOUNTAINEERING

The Plan Maison area of Cervinia offers two trails for enthusiasts of this winter sport. These are very scenic, compacted, signposted and safe and they all enjoy views of the Matterhorn. The first trail is approximately 4.5 km long. The second trail is 6 km long. There are also a few off piste trails.

ICE CLIMBING

Have you ever seen a frozen waterfall? It’s a spectacle not to be missed; a crystal wall with a multitude of reflections. Silent, cold, solemn and the thrill of climbing it, tackling it step by step. Here in Cervinia you can climb in safety, accompanied by the Cervino Guides. For mountain enthusiasts, an experience not to be missed.

MOUNTAINEERING

Climb a mountain, face the cliff pass after pass, a challenge against time, the cold and exhaustion. Cervino guides organizes trips through the mountains. If you like, with overnight stay. The tours are safe but you should have a healthy condition. The tours can be quite hard.

HIKING

There are a lot of safe and signposted routes. You can also take a guided tour if you want. The paths very in difficulty and length. Some are (very) easy but some are quite difficult. Enjoy the nice views on the top of the mountain. 

HELISKI

 You take off from Cervinia in a helicopter and fly over the peaks of the ski circuit. You then land and, accompanied by guides and expert off-piste ski instructors, you ski surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, with the great peaks close enough to touch.

SUMMERACTIVITIES


SUMMERSKIIING

At 3,500 metres above sea level, at Plateau Rosà (which can be reached by ski lift from Cervinia in just over half an hour), you can ski in summer too. The glacier’s high altitude guarantees well-compacted snow all season, with pistes that suit all levels of ability. 

MOUNTAINBIKE

There are many MTB trails. They vary in difficulty and length. Some of the trails are only for well- experienced MTB'ers. There is a MTB park. If you wish to MTB with no experience you can take a tour in the MTB park. This is fun for everyone.

GOLF

This has been a must for golfing enthusiasts since 1955: an 18-hole golf course with a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. Open all summer, golf is the perfect sport to follow the 3,000-metre skiing of Plateau Rosà. Intense competitive events are held during the season. There is a clubhouse with restaurant.

NATURE WALKS

Over 200 km of walking tracks in the area at the foot of Mt Cervino offers a variety of options; various lengths, times, difficulty, altitude difference etc.. There is also the possibility to try the nature walks with expert guides that will show you the local flora and fauna and explain the geography of the area.

MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

Mountain climbing is a long known sport in Cervinia. There are some rules regarding mountain climbing. A guide is required. Also, no littering, be aware of your environment and listen to your guide.

HORSE RIDING

Horse riding like never before. Breathtaking views, nature and complete silence. At the Cavalieri del Cervino stables, near the Alpage restaurant (Lago Blu locality, Cervinia) they organise riding trips and (beginner)lessons.
